A what?
The Button is a device that records the temperature. Later you can copy the
readings to a PC. It is then possible to tell what temperature the item was at and when.
You can see when it was exposed to high or low temperatures and for how long.
You can determine if your goods are still usable, or if a room is actually too hot or cold, or the equipment requires maintenance.
Three reasons for the Button
1. Reliably monitor the temperature
The Button is robust and water-resistant. It will continue to operate in harsh environments. It's size means that it can
be easily hidden from vandals.
3. Don't break the bank
The most unbelievable feature of the Button is its price. It is a fraction
of the price of any other logger.
Three Tools in
One
1. Temperature tracking
The Button will record up to 2048 readings with 0.5° resolution and time stamp.
They can be the first or the last 2048 readings. The sampling rate can be set from 1 to 255 minutes providing a continuous
graph of up to 362 days
2. Histogram
At each sample, the histogram is also updated. The -20°C to +85°C temperature
range is divided into 2° increments. The histogram records the total time the Button has been within each temperature range.
This makes it ideal for applications that will exceed the 2048 readings of the log but where the exact sequence of readings
is not important. For example, with most fresh produce, it is not important when the product exceeded a temperature, but for
how long it was at any given temperature
3. Alarms
A high and low limit can be set. When the Button exceeds either of these limits, the time and date are recorded. The time
and date are also recorded when it returns within the limits. On long trips the histogram and alarm combination provide an
extended sampling capability along with accurate time stamping of problems.
